The Work
What working with me is actually like.
Approach
Therapy with me is a conversation, not a performance. I will not nod silently at you for fifty minutes. I ask questions other people are too polite to ask, I tell you what I see, and I expect you to tell me when I'm wrong. The work is collaborative, sometimes confronting, occasionally funny — because laughter, used at the right moment, opens doors that solemnity keeps shut.
Underneath the conversation is a consistent method: we find what the symptom was solving. We trace it back to where it was built. And then — the part most therapy skips — we do the slow, repetitive, unglamorous work of building something that serves you better.
Insight alone changes nothing.
I'll say that again, because an entire industry is built on pretending otherwise: insight alone changes nothing. Change comes from what you do with it, repeatedly, until the new experience carries more authority than the old wound.
Specialisms

Equine-assisted therapy on the ridge.
Equine-Assisted Therapy
Horses don't care about your job title. They read one thing: your nervous system. A horse will mirror the anxiety you've spent years hiding from everyone including yourself — and in doing so, make visible what talking sometimes can't reach.
I offer equine-assisted sessions here on the ridge, working alongside my partner, an equine specialist. It is not petting therapy. It is some of the most honest feedback you will ever receive.
Practice Status — Waitlist
My practice is currently full.
Join the waitlist and you'll be contacted when a place opens — or sooner, if your circumstances change and mine allow. For situations that can't wait, The Ridge Intensive runs residential programmes twice a year.
